Our Partnership with All Saints Church

We are proud of our strong and meaningful relationship with our local parish church, All Saints. The support we receive from the church community plays a vital role in maintaining our school’s Christian ethos and high standards. We are especially grateful to those who generously give their time and expertise to enrich the life of our school.

The church supports us in many ways, including through governor involvement, leading worship and celebrations, supporting fundraising efforts, and enhancing curriculum learning. This partnership helps our children connect faith with everyday life and strengthens the sense of community across both school and church.

    Curriculum Support

Our church plays a valuable role in enriching the school curriculum. The church building itself provides a unique and inspiring space for learning, particularly in RE. Beyond the physical space, members of the church community generously give their time, skills, and knowledge to support our children’s learning

    Messy Church

Many of our children are an active part of the church life and enjoy attending Messy Church. This takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Rev. Janet and members of the clergy provide creativity, celebration, and hospitality. It's a place where people can come together to discover Jesus, and to grow in their faith

    Whole School Visits to Church

As a Church of England school, we regularly visit our parish church to take part in worship services and special celebrations, deepening our spiritual connection and strengthening our sense of community.

Our children take part in special performances at the church to celebrate important events:

    • Y4 Harvest (service which the children lead)
    • KS1 Christmas Nativity (presented through Drama)
    • Y5 Easter Performance (presented through Drama)

These are whole-school occasions where all our children attend church to watch their peers perform through readings, songs, and drama. Parents and Carers are always warmly invited to join us for these joyful and meaningful celebrations.

    Church School Partnership

Our strong partnership with All Saints Church is reflected in the many special celebrations our children take part in throughout the year. These include Christingle, Education Sunday, and Walking Day, which are important events in both the church and school calendar.
