Our school pets are a much-loved part of life at Rainford CE! We are lucky to have both chickens and guinea pigs, who help to make our school a happy, caring environment.

The children love spending time with our animals, helping to care for them and learning about responsibility, kindness and respect for living things. Looking after our pets provides valuable hands-on learning opportunities and encourages children to develop confidence, teamwork and empathy.

Whether they're collecting eggs from the chickens or giving the guinea pigs some gentle attention, our pupils always enjoy visiting our furry and feathered friends!
