SEND support for parents

Mrs Richardson is the school's co-ordinator for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).

The school sometimes receives information about courses, meetings and conferences for parents of children with additional needs. Mrs Richardson will advertise these sessions via the website calendar.

For parents wishing to understand our procedures for identifying, supporting and reviewing progress for children with additional needs, our full SEND policy is available for viewing on the website's "Information" page

Our SEND team in school can support parents with a wide range of issues, such as accessing Speech and Language advice, making contact with our school nurse, understanding how to help children with SEND to access homework tasks, applying for Disability Living Allowance, accessing parental support out of school or working with parents and their children to create Medical Care Plans.

Please keep checking the website for updated information, or see Mrs Richardson  for further details about any of our advertised SEND sessions.
