Neurodevelopment course for parents

We have been given details today of a course for parents of children with neurodevelopment issues. This is very short notice but there are still places available. The following is a message from ADDvanced Solutions, who are responsible for the administration of the course:

After many parents requested the delivery of an evening course, we have a 6 week neurodevelopmental conditions family learning programme starting on Wednesday 2nd November for 6 weeks from 6.00pm – 8.30pm finishing on Wednesday 7th December at St Helens Community College, Water Street St Helens WA10 1PP, and we have some places available. 

  

Would you be able to send out an email to your contacts and offer the parents of children with neurodevelopmental conditions the opportunity of accessing this course. 

  

The full course includes the following: 

  

Week 1: Identifying neurodevelopmental conditions, genetic conditions and learning difficulties. 

Week 2: Identifying Autism Spectrum Disorder 

Week 3: Identifying Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder 

Week 4: Identifying Sensory Processing Difficulties 

Week 5: Identifying strategies for challenging behaviours 

Week 6: Early intervention, SEN and support in schools.
