KS1 Trip to Martin Mere

Class: Reception Year: 2018 - 2019

How lucky we were last Thursday for the sun to shine on our first school trip of this year! All the infants classes set out together and traveled to Martin Mere in Burscough, dressed in wellies and waterproofs as they thought it would be a wet and rainy day.  

They had a full filled day; exploring the mere, observing the different animals, facing the 'wild walk' and taking part in the education sessions about how birds are different to humans. 

The children were complimented on their behaviour by the public and did Rainford C E proud. The teachers would like to thank all the parent helpers who joined them and are looking forward to the children's learning this week which is inspired by the trip.
