A message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents and Visitors,

Rainford CE School is a popular and successful school located in the heart of Rainford Village. As a church school, our Christian vision and values underpin everything we do, helping our whole school community to flourish. Ours is a happy and welcoming school where children come first. We have a dedicated team of staff and governors who ensure that every child is nurtured and supported on their individual learning journey.

We are also part of a wider Christian family—the Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust (LDST). LDST is a family of schools that welcomes young people of all faiths and none, working together to provide an excellent education built on distinctly Christian values. We are incredibly proud of our GROW curriculum, which offers high-quality learning in an inclusive and nurturing environment, enabling all children to thrive and ‘live life in all its fullness. John 10:10’ We provide a wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom, including extra-curricular clubs, educational visits, and overnight residentials. Our school is a welcoming and inspiring place where creativity and learning flourish. Rainford CE is a special place where every child is valued and encouraged to grow.

We aim to prepare our children socially, spiritually, and academically so that when they leave us, they carry a lifelong love of learning and are ready for the next step in their journey. Our Christian values of joy, peace, friendship, forgiveness, perseverance, justice, and above all, love, are woven throughout every aspect of school life.
