RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch

Our current Science topic centres around the following question:

Which birds and plants would Red Riding Hood see if she took a walk in the local woods?

With this in mind, we are encouraging children to take part in the RSPB "Big Garden Birdwatch". This is a national project, which aims to look at the bird population in the UK. Details can be found on the RSPB web site.

All KS1 children will be bringing home a bag of bird seed and a letter explaining how to take part.
