Y3/5 Trip to Liverpool Philarmonic

Year 3 and Year 5 had the amazing opportunity to take part in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic's Global Vision concert. On Wednesday, we went to the Philharmonic to experience the world famous orchestra whilst learning about our changing world and how we can be inspired by climate "superheroes" such as David Attenborough, Ellen MacArthur, Yin Yuzhen, Greta Thunberg and Dr Leslie Field. Through experiencing a variety of orchestral pieces, from Beethoven to Vivaldi, which were conducted by Michael Seal and presented by Alasdair Malloy, the children's eyes and hearts were opened to the joy and emotional impact that music can have. We even had the opportunity to join in with a specially-written song entitled People of Tomorrow which is all about empowering young people to save the world!
