World Book Day

Class: Reception Year: 2015 - 2016

We celebrated World Book Day in style again this year......

Our whole school theme in English for the week was the book 'Tuesday' by David Wiesner.

Each class focused on the book and responded to it by writing is for different purposes for a range of audiences.

Years 1 and 2 wrote a simple recount for young children.

Year 3 wrote a newspaper report for the school paper.

Year 4 wrote the narrative of the book for a younger audience.

Years 5 and 6 wrote some fantastic descriptions of the setting to entertain each other
