British Science Week

Lesson: Science

Class: Reception Year: 2019 - 2020

This week, we have been celebrating British Science Week around the two themes of Our Diverse Planet and Smashing Stereotypes. On Wednesday, we were all inspired by various influential British scientists, from Michael Faraday to Jane Goodall. The children also had the chance to experience the true awe and wonder of science through a variety of experiments. Some of the activities across the school included: exploring dissolving with sweets and water, exploring electricity with light bulbs and lemons, exploring gravity with paper planes and classifying states of matter with slime. The children (and staff) all had a fantastic day and we can't wait to see how our children develop into the scientists of the future!
